Serena Williams is making a comeback—to the Super Bowl.
Look for Serena in a Super Bowl Sunday ad for Ro, the GLP-1 the former world No. 1 said she’s taken to lose 34 pounds.
“I’m moving better on Ro,” Serena says in the Ro ad. “I’m feeling better on Ro.”
Rumors of the 44-year-old superstar making a potential return to the pro circuit have swirled in recent months though Serena has neither confirmed nor completely denied those rumors.
“Since being on GLP-1s, my lifetime risk of cardiovascular disease has decreased by 19%,” Serena said. “I’m not surprised at how good I feel.”
The 23-time Grand Slam champion has been a major Super Bowl player for the past decade.
The Super Bowl ad comes a year after Serena danced in the Super Bowl halftime show.
The Ro ad comes a decade after Serena starred in a Mini Cooper commercial that aired during the Super Bowl.
Serena made a strong cameo appearance alongside former NFL MVP and Williams sisters friend Peyton Manning in this Michelob Ultra spot that was selected as one of the best 2022 Super Bowl commercials.
